Many of you know me, my health problems, physical and mental...
Two plus years ago, my cardiologist told me to come back is six
months, my heart was beginning to show signs of dissecting in the
aorta, measurement 2.7 (what I don't know).... My mental condition
requires me to depend on others to remind me, or I forget... I did,
and until a few days ago no one reminded me, but one doctor noticed
that I was WAY overdue for a heart check up. And an appointment was
made, and my heart meds stopped.
When I showed up this afternoon there was a gerny on the ready to take
me to emergancy surgery !
(back track a bit, I have Marfans Syndrom, we all have heart
operations in our future, or we don't survive to see fifty, I am 47...
We have a "window" in which it is safe for the operation between
measurements 4.3 and 5)
They hooked up the echogram to take the measurements... the doctor
said "Oh MY GOD !!!" Symbolically speaking my heart jumped into my
throat "It's too late, its over 5" I thought to my self, worse the
doctor said process him and send him home. "Now I know I am dead !"

"Doctor ???!!!???" I screeched as soon as I found my voice.

"Scared you ! Huh ? Don't ever pull that on us again. I said 'Oh God'
for joy... I was honestly SURE I would have to send you to Cryogenics
(the operation requires freezing the body and taking the heart out to
operate on; 98% survival rate in spite of how horrid it sounds), but
you measure only 3.5, at this rate you may not need the operation for
a good two years !"
God watches over those unable to care for themselves. As no one
remembered to remind me, until what could have been too late, it is a
miracle of GOD I am alive to tell you this.

In alt.religion.christian I read <39455ed2.435921@news.urjet.net>
from gwebb@urjet.net (Glenn (Christian Mystic)):

[snip story]

Glenn, I am happy at the good news. But you might also consider
thanking the doctors and researchers who developed a process that
would allow them to freeze you, remove your heart, operate on it, and
put it back. And all with a 98% success rate.

Worry not, I in no way leave them out of the loop...
The thing is, the doctors forgot about my mental disorders, and failed
to remind me to show up, when I should have... It was God (imo) that
protected me from arriving too late to be saved, and slowed my rate of
disection, granting me (possibly) an additional two years before I
need that operation.

What did god have to do with you being well.

He didn't heal you. The doctor did.

And people dying each day?

eh?

Doctors openly admit that they don't heal anyone,
their own body heals itself.

God set it up that way, but you still eventually die.

You have "X" amount of time to find God and figure it out.

Better hurry while you have time.

God made it all, Jesus died for our sins.

Doctors don't "heal" anyone, it is in their interest to only
"treat". If they healed, they would lose busine$$. It pays
to be informed, then you will know when a "doctor" is
undertreating you to keep you sick and returning for more
"treatment".

Doctor's are merely "practising" medicine.

I am not well, just don't need the operation yet, until the operation,
the doctor has done nothing. Re-read what you are responding to.
