This video has been going around on the BBSes and such, but I didn't see anyone post it here, so here it is. Someone decided to take the latest source code to an old BBS software, Impulse (7.1), and compile it so it can run on something today! https://youtu.be/YaYAEtwE8Es Hah, I almost typed a B instead of 8 (typing on an Atari 8bit). Looks like a pretty cool BBS, and I would love to check it out. Hopefully it doesn't have any massive bugs or issues with terminal output. Terminal issues are a very common thing with BBS software when the author only uses something like a PC terminal program to test with. Personally, I would have run Enigma or Talisman or something if those BBSes looked nice and worked well with old computers, but I think the author has moved on to bigger things.
