Dockery couldn't afford the bullets, let alone a cheap gun.  Even if he could, he'd miss because failure is the Dockery family legacy.

Just like Eddie Owens Martin, Dockery's mother dying was the best thing to happen to him.  Brother Dave kicking the bucket was the second best.

Local news carried stories recently about a fourteen 
year old “squeegee kid” who shot a passing driver, 
and a nine year old who shot a fifteen year old
with a gun owned a relative in law enforcement.
