What are you spewing, Donkey?

Your sentence doesn't make any sense.

"Reading" is a verb, not a noun. A magazine's contents cannot be focused on a verb.

I *think* you mean to say that "The contents were focused on written and visual material," although that's incredibly vague and could describe advertisements which comprise both written and visual material.

I believe that you misunderstood the "reading" classes in grades K-6 to be referring to the subject matter of the course, when it actually referred to what the students were learning to how do.

Why are you such a sub-moronic jackass, Donkey?

No one outside of the Columbus/Atlanta area, which was the area in which the legendary 10,000 copies were circulated.

As previously noted, it was a local listings paper. Its circulation, influence (if any), and relevance was limited to Atlanta and its environs.

The paper has more articles and art than it has ads.

I have neither the time nor the inclination to tally up the ads vs articles in each issue.

Perhaps you can make a project of it.

That said, it remains a local paper with a localized circulation for local readers.

Not at all, Donkey.

The paper remains a local circular regardless of the ads to articles ratio.

The 10,000 copies were dumped off at local laundromats, local supermarkets, local bars, etc.

I see such local magazines everyday in every town I visit.

Unlike legitimate magazines, they do not attempt to sell their issues. They make their money solely through local ads.

The articles are an excuse to leave the ads in various local stores, local restaurants, local coffee houses, etc.

Everyone is familiar with these magazines, and everyone knows what they are -- an advertisement circular.

If you can prove that the paper had paid subscribers and an national circulation, I'll revise my opinion of it.

If not STFU.

In the meantime, I'm blocking this pointless discussion as spam.
