> Talking to the sun isn't that out of the ordinary. In next Saturday's poem (the one that leads into O'Hara's in the archive), it's John Donne who's talking to the sun. The most interesting thing in O'Hara's poem is that the sun talks back. :)

I've read some John Donne, "Death Be Not Proud" is a favorite from the early days, when I was first learning about poetry.
