And I explained to you then that Georgia is in the sub-tropic zone where traditional seasonal changes are not applicable.

The current temperature here (in a temperate zone) is 60 degrees Fahrenheit.  Trees are blossoming, leaves are budding, grass is green, daffodils, tulips, magnolias, forsythia, etc., have been blooming for almost a month.  By any traditional understanding of "Spring" (calendrical included) -- it's here.

Dandelions bloom in 60 degree weather.  If the weather in Georgia is 65 degrees, and the dandelions have gone to seed, "Spring" has been around for several weeks -- regardless of the calendar date.
