Down here in the "Dirty South", there's become a connection between
gangsters, drug dealers in inner-cit America and connections to Jamaica.

The Clash and The Rolling Stones, to name two iconic groups of
people/artists discovered and discussed (through their songs) how things
were not always hunky dory down in Trenchtown.

I can get back to this a bit later in greater length, if you're interested
in some of the finer details, Bill.

I hope so, since this is an aspect of the poem that I don't think has ever
been questioned.
