I went into an office yesterday and availed myself of the free bandwidth to download the NetBSD and OpenBSD installers. Wish me luck! SunOS, BSD/OS and FreeBSD were my intro to UNIX systems administration back in the '90s. Looking forward to see how much has changed and how much I remember. .... Re: Going back to BSD By: poindexter FORTRAN to All on Thu Apr 04 2024 09:27 am I'm thinking about firing up a VM of FreeBSD, thats what I first used to build synchronet back in the day, dunno if I was just wanting to abuse myself, and that I did.. I'm sure I had gotten under Rob, Deuce, and everyone elses skin too because it was a first for me lol.. But I enjoyed it. Ive been playing with Manjaro linux on my macbook for the past couple days and actually like it pretty good. little different that what I am used to with debin and ubuntu, but has been great so far..
